Steve is best known as an NBA coach and teammate. As of Apr. 2020, he is an eight-time NBA champion and leads the Golden State Warriors. He won five titles as a basketball player and three as a coach and he’s definitely become a legend in the world of professional basketball.

The murder of his father in 1984 and used the tragedy as a way to motivate himself to live his life to the fullest and excel in the sport he loved. He played for the University of Arizona from 1983 until 1988 and was eventually named to the USA Basketball team that competed in the FIBA World Championship in Spain.

In the beginning of his pro career, he was selected by the Phoenix Suns in the 1988 NBA Draft and was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1989. He also played for Orlando Magic in part of the 1992-93 season before signing on with the Chicago Bulls in 1993.
