Steve Harvey is an American comedian, television host, producer, radio personality, actor and author who is best known for hosting ‘Family Feud.’ Steve is also the host of the daytime talk show ‘The Steve Harvey Morning Show’ along with hosting duties on ‘Celebrity Family Feud, and the Miss Universe pageant.

Steve was born Broderick Stephen Harvey on January 17, 1957 in Welch, West Virginia. He started out by doing stand-up comedy and while on his path to fame was homeless for roughly three years. In 1990, Steve became a finalist in the Second Annual Johnnie Walker National Comedy Search. Following his stint, he would go on to find huge success working with comedians and entertainers like Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley, and Bernie Mac. Steve’s comedy turn also lead him to a number of TV and film gigs, but it was hosting that ultimately became Steve’s career move.
