It’s the last week of June, and though Pride Month is wrapping up, there is still plenty of celebrating to be done. After all, Pride isn’t just a month – it’s a way of life – and just because this Friday marks the start of July, it doesn’t mean that members of the LGBTQ+ community will stop enjoying their place in the sun.
‘The Hills’ star Lauren Conrad marked the week with a partnership with Planet Oat. Here, the ‘Laguna Beach’ alum attended the launch of the Planet Oat marketplace pop-up in New York City.
The past week also saw New York City hold its annual Pride Parade (June 26). Kendall Jenner wasn’t in the Big Apple to celebrate, but she made sure her presence was there via her 181 Tequila. During Pride Month, Kendall’s entry into the celebrity tequila world donated $50,000 donated $50,000 to The Venture Out Project, a queer and trans-led collective that focuses on bringing the restorative effects of nature to the LGBTQ+ community. 818 employees will also participate in the nonprofit’s trans inclusion workshop, Beyond Bathrooms, to ensure that they are employing measures to be inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community year-round.
