Is A$AP Mob going to have to plan a wedding? A new report claims that even though the rising rap star and gorgeous model have only been dating for about a year, they're already engaged to be married! When A$AP Rocky, 25, sees something he likes, he apparently doesn't waste time locking it down. After dating for just over a year, the NYC-based rapper and model Chanel Iman, 23, are secretly engaged, according to Page Six.
A$AP Rocky & Chanel Iman Engaged?
Chanel reportedly “happily accepted” Rocky’s proposal, but for now they’re keeping the engagement under wraps. Chanel was spotted at Montblanc’s 90th anniversary on April 3, but she was NOT wearing any bling on her ring finger.
Rocky and the former Victoria’s Secret model have been linked together since early 2013, though they’ve managed to mostly keep their relationship out of the headlines. Just recently though, they’ve begun stepping out together. Rocky and Chanel hit the red carpet of an event at Gustavino’s in February, they’ve been arm-in-arm at recent New York Knicks games, and they were actually seen kissing on the red carpet of the MTV VMAs in August.
A$AP Rocky’s Past Relationships
Though her relationship with A$AP Rocky is really Chanel’s first spotlit romance, the rapper has been linked to several stars in the past. In late 2011, Rocky began dating fellow rapper Iggy Azalea, who actually had the title of his mixtape — “Live.Love.A$AP” — tattooed on her fingers. Rocky confirmed that the relationship had ended in July 2012.
And who can forget Rocky’s rumored fling with Rihanna? As the opening act on her “Diamonds” world tour, Rocky built up a ton of chemistry with RiRi, and after the two were spotted kissing during a video shoot in August 2013, a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “There is no dating relationship happening between the two, but they are definitely sleeping with each other. He’s like a brother to her, they’re cool.”
